Ceremony Choices

Wedding Ceremony choices starting at about $200 including travel
Each of the following is a complete wedding ceremony, including processional, presentation of bride,
readings or prayers, exchange of vows, ring blessing, exchange of rings, benediction, pronouncement of
marriage, and recessional.

Three different lengths of ceremonies are offered:
•        SILVER CEREMONY: Standard 15 to 20-minute-long ceremony.
       May be personalized by adding a
unity or memorial candle lighting, or sand blending only.
•        GOLD CEREMONY: Standard 20 to 30-minute-long ceremony.
       May be personalized with
your own vows and up to three 'wedding traditions' as shown below.
•        
PLATINUM CEREMONY: Standard 30 to 45-minute-long ceremony.
       May be personalized as desired with
your own vows and unlimited  'wedding  traditions'.

Three versions are offered for each of the above ceremonies; your choice:
•        TRADITIONAL RELIGIOUS CEREMONY. Mentions God. Includes prayers/blessings.
•       
 INTERFAITH / SPIRITUAL CEREMONY. Less religious elements than Traditional.
•       
 CIVIL / SECULAR CEREMONY. Contains no religious elements.

Wedding Traditions available for Gold and Platinum Ceremonies:

•        Unity Candle Lighting (mothers and others may also participate).
•        
Blending the Sands (family members may also participate).
•        
Memorial Candle Lighting in memory of loved ones.
•       
 Flower Presentation to mothers (and others).
•       
 Family Unity Ceremony (medallion presentation to children).
•        
Rose Presentation between bride and groom.
•        
Hands Ceremony between bride and groom.
•        
Additional Song(s) of your choosing (live or recorded).
•        
Additional Reading(s) of your choosing (by officiant, friend or family member).
•       
 Jumping the Broom (African Tradition).
•       
 Hand-fasting Ceremony (Celtic Tradition).
•        
Breaking the Glass (Jewish Tradition).
•        
Lasso Ceremony (Latin Tradition).

Additional Services available at extra cost:

•        On-Site Rehearsal. Step-by-step with all ceremony participants. Approx. 1-hour.
•        Ceremony planning meeting with your officiant. Required for “personally written ceremonies”.

A valid Michigan "Marriage License" must be presented before a wedding ceremony can be performed.
Bride, Groom, (2) Witnesses, and the Officiant sign the license.
